ARTifact

ARTifact is a festival that occurs on several nights throughout the school year. It is an opportunity for artistically inclined people to share their art with others. We love to showcase all forms of art from dance to poetry to music to sculpture. The evenings start with an art show with artists present to speak about their work and then moves into a more coffeehouse style with 5-10 minutes performances. We always have ample locally roasted coffee and cupcakes provided by the McGill Cupcake Club.

ARTifact nights:
October 25th 7-8:30
November 22 7-8:30
February 28th 7-8:30
March 27th 7-8:30

Also as a part of the ARTifact festival we have the annual 24 hour playwriting competition taking place on January 14th at 8PM where three student have 24 hours to write a show and 24 hours to direct a show. The shows, which usually have casts of approximately 10 students, are then performed and judged by McGill theatre professors.
